I wish I could stop the noisy trucks, mostly pickups in this area, and re-route the loud muffler back into the cab so they could get a taste of what it sounds like from outside. I guess in their weird reasoning it makes them feel bigger and faster. 

What is it about rednecks that want all that noise. When you are 16-17 and just starting out driving maybe, but when you’re in your 30’s-40’s?

Maybe it’s all the alcohol consumed at football games or bonfires in someone’s vacant field that has clouded their thinking. Or maybe it’s simply a mating call to others with loud trucks. Somehow that invokes a really sick mental picture that I’d just rather not dwell on.

I guess some just never grow up, or there are not enough brain cells left after the liquor is done with them to really care or notice how loud and obnoxious they are.
