Walking by the wife’s desk the Chess Set caught the light from her desk lamp just right and I thought it would make a nice picture. I bought this a long time ago and got it out, cleaned it up, and sat it there in hopes of playing a game before long.
It just goes to show something that looks so plain and mundane one moment, when struck by just the right light can invoke memories and images of days gone by.
Gosh, this post brings back memories of playing this game at school. I haven’t played in years. Perhaps it’s time I get back into it.
